Melissa & Patrick | Memphis Wedding Photography

Melissa and Patrick were married at the beautiful Northwest Passage in The Memphis Zoo; home to the sea lion, black bear, bald eagle and polar bear exhibits. Decked out in gorgeous log-frame structures and trimmed with Native American-themed artwork, Northwest Passage pays homage to the great Pacific northwestern cultures and territories of the United States and Canada.

The couple had initially planned to exchange vows on the peninsula in the amphitheater used during the sea lion shows, but the weather simply wouldn't cooperate. As a result, the ceremony was moved inside to the polar bear and sea lion viewing room (which was still a beautiful setting). Melissa didn't seem at all phased by the change. I think she was just so thrilled to be marrying Patrick that you could have dumped hail, ice and snow on her and it wouldn't have bothered her a bit.













Turns out, Melissa is quite the peanut butter freak, so Ryan Draper and the folks at Draper's Catering put together a magnificent peanut butter dessert table, complete with ice cold milk. Yummmmm!!!
